Matcha Frozen Custard Recipe

Matcha Frozen Custard Ice Cream Sandwich
Ingredients:
  • 2 1/2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 Cup Half and Half
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 5 Egg Yolks
  • 2 Tlbs. Ice Cream/Dessert Matcha
  • Prep Time: 20 min
    Cooking Time: 2 hrs.

    Instructions:
    Mix cream, half and half, sugar, and matcha in a pan over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Slowly add a matcha mixture to your egg yolks in a bowl while whisking to temper them. If mixture is added to quickly yolks will scramble. Once combined, cover and put in your freezer to chill. Once chilled add to your ice cream machine of choice and follow its instructions to finish.
